Our vision is a world where disabled people have the same opportunities to fulfil their life ambitions as non-disabled people.
What we do
Our information and advice services reached 28,000 people this year.
We deliver direct services to over 10,000 disabled people and their families each year, supporting them to exercise choice and control over their lives.
From a poll of over 200 families who received support and information from Scope:
- 98% of people were satisfied or very satisfied with the support they received.
- 90% said they believed that the support they received would still have a positive impact on their family’s quality of life in five years’ time.
What we’re raising funds for
We want to increase the number of families we reach with direct information, advice and support services through our Face 2 Face projects from 4,000 per year to 16,000 per year by 2017.
We also want to set up new supported living opportunities for disabled adults with some of the most complex impairments and give them the opportunity to fulfil their ambitions in life.
Current Target
£450,000 invested in an Allia bond would enable to reach 135 new families per year with information, support and advice.
